INTROI’m Elisabetta (better if you call me Betta) and I come from Udine, a city with 540,00 inhabitants in the North East of Italy. When I was 8 years old I loved to doodle little logos on the top corners of my dad’s ‘important documents’ just to make them look better. Eventually at the age of 13 I found out about what it means to be a Graphic Designer and I realised that was my dream job (forgetting about being an astronaut).
EDUCATION + EXPERIENCEBetween my studies I always tried to keep myself busy, especially during Summer holidays that I spent between advertising agencies, design studios and print shops as intern. My education ended with a MA Degree in Graphic Design at the London College of Communication, followed by 3 years work experience working for an award-winning design agency (with clients such as BBC, CNN, Daily Mail, VisitBritain and Euronews) and creating successful campaigns for the public sector working for Surrey and Hampshire County Council. It didn’t take me long to realise that I wasn’t a good fit for big agencies and I did enjoy much more being my own boss. So I walked away with a wealth of knowledge and experience worth gold. In 2013 (at the age of 24) I finally decided to open my own company and here I am now, running my own business working from home, with clients from all over the world.
LIFE + INTERESTSYou can usually find me in my studio with a large cup of coffee, fresh flowers and plants (probably too many), latin music or hip-hop on loud, sketching logos and ideas like crazy. When I’m not working, you might find me at quirky cafes in South London, art galleries or walking/jogging around the park.
